We are nothing without you!
The Cameroon Debate Association (CDA) is a civil society organization created in 2009 for the development of young people of both sexes and the contribution to community development. It includes a network of associations, clubs and forums specializing in citizen participation, information production and dissemination, culture of dialogue, humanitarian engagement, youth empowerment, education, arts and culture. It targets the following sectors: public and private universities, higher education institutions, colleges and lycées, companies, associations run by (for) young people, women and the disadvantaged.
CDA is a partner of several other organizations, including: the International Network for the Promotion of Public Speaking in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific (RIPAO), the Embassy of France in Cameroon, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), the Alliance Franco-camerounaise (Afc), the Université des Montagnes (UdM), Cake’Arts…
Why become a CDA partner?
Specialized in andragogy, CDA offers a range of training courses in nine major sectors: public speaking (eloquence), debate, pitching, advocacy, negotiation, personal development, leadership, networking and entrepreneurship.
The association also carries out community development projects that address human rights, health, environmental protection and promotion. It has a network of experts who can work in complex and varied fields such as skills building, legal expertise, IT and digital expertise, project design, management and monitoring and evaluation.
Its national network exceeds 1,000 members and its activities mobilize a target of millions across the country. Thanks to its various centres of excellence in several regions, the young people it trains excel in their field and become global references.
Each year the association represents Cameroon at continental and world public speaking competitions. It needs partners for more visibility at these international meetings, but also and especially in the context of its projects at the national, regional or local level.
