Do you have a powerful voice, strong ideas and the ambition to represent Cameroon on national, continental and international stages?
The Cameroon National Oratory Team — ENOC 237 is launching a national call for applications to recruit its new generation of orators.
🎙️ WE ARE RECRUITING:
🇫🇷 10 French-speaking Orators
- Junior Orators: 12–17 years old
- Senior Orators: 18–25 years old
- Candidates aged 26 may exceptionally be considered
🇬🇧 10 English-speaking Orators
- Junior Orators: 12–17 years old
- Senior Orators: 18–25 years old
- Candidates aged 26 may exceptionally be considered
👥 We are also recruiting 4 Coaches
- 2 Coaches for the French-speaking team
- 2 Coaches for the English-speaking team
🌍 REPRESENT CAMEROON. COMPETE WITH THE WORLD.
Selected members will receive high-level training and coaching under the supervision of Debate Cameroon / CDA, with the support of an International Head Coach.
Members of ENOC 237 will have opportunities to:
🎯 participate in national and international oratory competitions;
🌍 join a global and pan-African network of debate and public-speaking competitions;
🇨🇲 represent Cameroon at continental and international events;
🏫 take part in a national tour and compete against university teams;
✈️ join a structured international competition circuit starting in 2027 for selected members;
🎓 strengthen their skills in public speaking, debate, argumentation, leadership and communication;
🤝 become part of the CDA / Debate Cameroon network and contribute to its activities.
📋 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
✅ be between 12 and 26 years old;
✅ be Cameroonian, living in Cameroon or abroad;
✅ for university applicants, be currently enrolled in a university in Cameroon, or have obtained a university degree no later than 2024;
✅ have an Android smartphone for online training and team activities;
✅ be available and committed to the programme;
✅ be willing to join and actively contribute to the CDA network for at least 3 years.
