COCAM 2025: THE DIRECTORY OF CAMEROON’S PROFESSIONAL SPEAKERS IS ANNOUNCED
Cameroon Nationals: 2nd edition
As part of the 2nd edition of Cameroon Nationals, Debate Cameroon (CDA) is publishing the official list of candidates who will compete in the final round at the University of Yaoundé 1, from May 18 to 24, from the 10 regions. The estimated gross total was over 500 participants selected from Cameroon’s 10 regions.
The regions with the highest number of participants are:
Centre : 1st place
West: 2nd place
Littoral: 3rd place
Southwest: 4th place
Adamoua: 5th place
An additional list will be published for late applicants.
The disciplines selected this year are as follows:
Debate: British Parliamentary & World School Debate Format
Public Speaking
Pleading
Slam/Poetry
Storytelling
Three categories are open:
Junior: World School Debate Format
Senior: COCAM/British Parliamentary Format
Masters: COCAM/British Parliamentary Format
The competition is held in several languages. This year, French and English are the focus. A category in the local language and other international languages is planned.
