After ten years of experience in the field, CDA set up in 2009 the very first school of public speaking in Cameroon and Central Africa called ORATORIUM. The school is founded by Marius Yannick BINYOU BI HOMB, Chairman of the CDA Supervisory Committee and oral researcher. This school organizes a national competition of eponymous public speaking reserved exclusively for members of the school and professional speakers.
The association offers comprehensive short, medium and long-term training in public speaking and personal development ranging from three days to six months, then from six months to twelve years. Learners from this school can follow a career as a professional speaker, judge, coach or promoter for the association, the network or on their own account.
For the time being, the training courses organised by the school are organised in modules and over a defined period of time in the following cities: Yaoundé, Douala and Dschang. It is aimed mainly at professionals, company executives and budding speakers, pupils and students who are passionate about general culture and oratory.
